ContributorsAlberta Conservation AssociationIncorporated under the Alberta Societies Act, the Alberta Conservation Association is a separate entity, independent of the government. As a nonprofit society, the ACA is accountable to the people of Alberta. The ACA's objectives are to preserve, protect, develop, enhance and promote the conservation of fish and wildlife populations and habitat throughout the province. Also part of its mandate is to increase public awareness of fish, wildlife and endangered species and develop public recognition of the value of our province's fish and wildlife resources. The eleven voting meembers of the Alberta Conservation Association Board of Directors are commited to ensuring that Alberta fish and wildlife populations and their habitats are well managed, and that the funds gathered through the levies on licences are directed at priority programs. Each of the Directors holds a vested interest in our province's fish, wildlife and species at risk.
